man i like how you are setting your van up. you got it hooked up with
everything you could want. thanks for you videos?
Cotex inverter, Haha?
I was wondering, after you drilled the holes in the roof, what was that
thing with the blue handle you stuck in the hole? On the end of it you
unscrewed something. What was that take care.?
this is the dream setup. real inspiration, hope to be setting mine up just
like it over the next year.?
Would you share what products you use for solar install. Panels,
batteries, charge controller, etc??
Looks fantastic! With a 15 amp charge controller you might be able to run
a second 140 watt panel, but I know that would be cutting it pretty close.
Anyways, thanks for posting!?
Why didn’t you install the panel the other way (90 degrees)? Are you
leaving space for another one??
nice job keep it up.?
This was very informative, but can you make a video or share a few pictures
of how you bolted the solar panel down and if the bolts can be seen from
the inside please??
What all can you run on it? Mini fridge? Also, how do you get hot water for
water system? Is there a better way than heating it on the stove? Thanks.?
I like Cotek power inverters ;-)?
what is the blue thing your using…please name all tools..thanks?
Wait until winter comes… Kiss the TV, playstation, inverter, and nearly
everything else goodbye if you value the lifespan of the batteries. I’ve
got nearly twice everything there, and it isn’t enough. Not even close.?
Close but no cigar….. 4x AGM in use series and parallel. This doubles
the amps.?
I’d drill some vent holes in battery box or just get extra tray and keep
under hood actually?
thank you for watching ,.,, there are no fumes , these are AGM sealed
batteries.
Does your battery only trickle charge from your rooftop solar panels? Could
you set up your batteries to charge from your running engine?
where did you learn to do this and where did you get all the supplies? im
getting my van this week and i want to do the same thing so i can run tv,
fridge, etc. where do you get panels? will a regular car battery work? why
do you have the battery in a rubber looking container?
Do you drill a hole through the roof of the van to run the wires from
the solar panels to conect to the charge controler? I live in washington
state so how do you seal it up so the wether don’t get in.
Subscribed …nice work…cant wait to see how it turns out
yes
Dont you have be careful with the batteries fumes
thank you very much!!
I am wanting to hook up soler panels on my van so I am trying to learn,
“FROM THE SOLAR PANELS TO THE CHARGE CONTROLER, TO THE BATTERYS, AND THEN
TO THE INVERTER” How do you run power to the inverter? Is it all conected
to the batterys or is it from some where else like cigarette lighter socket.
Nice looking set up.
