  1. try this? thread: ABOUTSOLARCELLS.COMXA.COM me and my friends are happy, more can be found on page,we reduced budget home and now we are thinking to sell energy

  2. It would take you three weeks to make one bag of popcorn from the sun. Stop giving solar? a bad name…trust me one bag of popcorn if you’re lucky. You do realize that a small microwave will draw around 150-180 amps DC at 12 volts…do the math people.

  3. Why 6V AGM as? opposed to 12V AGM?
Did you wire the battery bank for 6V? 12V? or 24V?
Just curious as I am just getting started in solar myself and have heard that building a bank out of lower voltage batteries is preferable (such as 6v or 2.5v cells), though I’m not quite clear on why. 🙂

  4. ????
I have reduced my bill by 70% in 2012. I recently built
3 solar DIY panels…? using simple and cheap materials. I’ve posted all the info
Easy and useful! I hope it helps someone!

  5. Quick question for you… > How many solar panels would i need to power? a 37 ft RV with slide… to run all light, computer, fridge, freezer, and small electric heater… and how many batteries would i need.. what? package is best in your opinion?

  6. We’ve seen some homebuilt mini ones online that say they can power small recreational? vehicles, but overall we feel solar is more common and reliable. After all, it’s built in and there’s a much more reliable chance of daylight than there is of wind. If you wind up using a windmill, let us know how it works out for you!
