On Wednesday morning, June 29, 2011, NC Deputy Secretary of Commerce Dale Carroll, Mecklenburg County Commissioners Chair Jennifer Roberts and other dignitaries helped mark the installation of a solar panel facility atop the Friendship Trays building on Distribution Street in South End Charlotte.
