    panels. I can not believe how expensive IronRidge is.

  12. I get around 55 watts with each panel. These were the first ones I build
    years ago and I have a few cracked cells in them. I have have gotten a lot
    better at building them since then.

  17. Instead of being completely off the grid, you can create enough sold energy
    to cause you meter to run backwards, effectively powering your home
    completely and then some. Depending on your power provider, you can get
    credits toward your power bill, and if you produce enough solar throughout
    the year, make your power bill zero and even get paid by the power company.

  19. To run your whole house off grid takes a lot of batteries. I only run a few
    appliances and lights. I have not used a grid tie inverter.
