Also forgot to ask what is the max input into the wind max GT/inverter.?
What short sleeve shirts, we are still getting snow up here. But be nice to
have some spring weather. ollllllllo?
Great stuff, a good layer of hot dip galvanize will easily last 50 years.?
Thanks for the shout our My friend. I have some video Footage to go
through this weekend I have over 10 hours of Freedom 2 PMG video to go
through from yesterday. and about a hour of video of putting Solar panels
on unistrut, I will post a link in the video to this video or if you like
when I get that video up send this as a VR and I will do the same so people
can see the different ways Solar panels can be installed. ?
Love it, someday I will get one.?
I’ve got a great question for you wind turbine makers. Why is it that you
always make the outer parts of the blades so narrow? They are wide at the
base where they connect to the hub and get narrow as they move away from
the hub… It would make more since to have the blades wider at the ends
and narrower at the hub. The reason I say this is due to the simple fact of
leverage. It would require less work from the wind if the blades were wide
on the ends. It’s like using a ratchet, it is much harder to loosen a bolt
if you are holding the ratchet where the socket attaches and is much easier
to loosen a bolt if you are holding the ratchet at the end of the handle.
So why do you have the blades narrower at the tips and not wider? You could
redesign the blades to have more structural integrity at the hub end of the
blades and would solve the problem of weakness at the hub end of the blades
if you make the tips of the blades wide not narrow. ?
Your grid tie inverter, is it connected to a smart meter? The state I live
in, must have permission through county to install grid-tie inverter and
must be done by certified installers which cost big money for typical home
owner.?
That’s a great idea to hot dip. Most good wind zones around the world a
coastal Will you be doing the yaw mount? Great video learnt a lot. Thanks?
Wow that Galvanizing looks great. on the new Star’s and strips tail and
bracket wow. Hot dipped is the way to go. will last a long long time. the
unistrut I use for may solar panels are also hot dipped. I can here Molly
packing a way back there. ?
Jeff, The unirack system, can it be used on a asfault shingle roof??
For best results use a 120 volt DC to 120 volt AC inverter with
your battery back up..?
O yea Thanks for the shout out. ?
Hey Jeff, looks great thank you take care my friend?
Great Job. I live on the East Coast shoreline salt air is a major problem
here. Turbine looks great.?
nice, thanks!
could you tell me the details of your wireless mic and video camera?
john?
I was looking for Tat’s on Adam I didn’t see any. ?
I might need to buy some of those end clamps. I used flat washers with a
rubber washer to hold my solar panels to the unistrut. I wonder if a 1/4
bolt will fit though the holes on those clamps. ?
Hey Jeff – Can you do a follow up on the video about the “energy amplifier”
that you made the video on earlier? I saw that video just a couple of days
ago, but now I can’t find it in your list of videos. Do you know what I’m
talking about??
any concerns for snow sitting on the panels??
Your videos are fantastic and very helpful. I thank you very much. You have
worked very hard to get to where you are. You have a nice home, successful
business, and a nice wife. Why not enjoy as many years as you can? I lost
my mom and dad both to cancer. Please stop smoking. I know you didn’t want
to hear that from me. You have given me lots of great advice so I’m giving
some back. As I say I really appreciate the videos. You take care.?
Jeff, I have a solar noob question and it’s a doozy. 🙂 I know you’re not
supposed to series different Ah batteries together. Does this apply to
solar panels also? A 25 watter and a couple of 15 watters hooked together
or do the panels have to have the same specs to do it? Like I say…
probably a dumb, rhetorical question to most that visit this channel, but
I’d like to know, please? :)?
Really nice Jeff!~~John?
Those Lightway Panels are excellent. Just one look on the tracing and
soldering in those panels, and you know they are well made. They put out
crazy power too!?
Another great diy video! Great job!
Thanks ?
