I have been working on my powershed for a while now…Getting stuff little by little…I got two of those kits,A 6000watt generator,Transfer switch, and Two deep cycle batteries,Two 1500 watt power inverters and? a crap load of wire to start putting everythin together…Don’t give up and keep on doing what your doing.

  6. These 3 panels on the box will run 45 watts. One 45 watt light bulb. So an AC will require much more then that. It will run a large Fan just fine. Maybe if you got 3 of these 45 watt units running off a Marine Deep Cycle battery you could run? a small AC for 3-4 hours.

  7. Hey what solar kit would i need to run a small air? conditioning unit? I found a 5000 btu unit but im just trying to figure out a kit for 5000 btu or less. Or should getto rig a small fridge into an ac unit

  10. There was a Youtuber about 2 years? ago, her channel was Starjaded. I think she has a different channel now, she was pretty hot looking anyhoo she was big into makeing Prep vids, Storeing foods, Ammo ect. One night something happened was the wood stove and here house and all her Preps burnt to the ground.
    So it just goes to show while you looking at trouble coming from one direction the trouble comes from the direction you not looking and all your efforts are for naught.

  11. I refuse to spend every spare penny on “Prepping”. Just got back from Cracker barrel for a nice meal. Yeah I bought Crysis 2 for the Xbox AND Homefront which is also an awesome game with the Red Commies invading America in 2026.

    The fact is all those people doing major Prepping out there, all there doing is makeing a stockpile for some other guy who will get their foods & goods after they get Eat by a Zombie. So yeah about 2 weeks of foods & I’ll worry? about it after the SHTF><.

  13. Well this will never come close to getting you “off the grid” but at least you got a little bit of juice. I think you have a bad battery. This thing should be able to give you at least 2 hours? of power off the battery.
    I know it can get reall hot here in the summer so even a small fan would be better then nothing.

  14. Yeah I know 45 watts isn’t a lot. I had my power shutoff 2 weeks ago cause I owed $180. At least the two lights it comes with would have been better then total darkness. I’m going to try to get two of these kits 90 watts to run a little? more. it’s a dinky kit but it is affordable to most people interested in getting up and going with solar.
    I have a generator to, and those to have their drawbacks, Noise for one, but even worse if you not carefull the Carbon Monxide can kill you.

  15. Pretty pathetic really but then again I’m only expecting to use enought till I can get on the boat off this continent? and get my sorry ass to Tahiti before it gets really bad.
